Letter to TU Delft

Dear Tim van der Hagen (president of the executive board of the TU Delft),

On Tuesday the 20th of February, we were present at the Delftse Bedrijvendagen. We wished to voice our protest against the presence of large arms companies, Airbus and Thales. These companies profit from destabilizing the Middle East and North Africa, and from militarizing the borders of the European Union. They make our world less safe, and force the people fleeing the wars fuelled by the arms industry into ever more dangerous routes. These companies have no place in a university, recruiting students and developing arms technologies. Their future employees have a right to know about the nefarious practices their companies are involved in.

Stop the War on Migrants – TU Delft action report

Action detailed-report of the demonstration on 20/02/2018 outside AULA conference center, TU Delft.

We are writing this report to inform our friends, comrades and supporters about the demonstration at TU Delft during Delftse Bedrijvendagen.

We would like to draw your attention on the way all the authorities (mayor Marja van Bijsterveldt, police, TU Delft) systematically tried to criminalize our campaign while the real criminals such as Airbus continue to freely promote their deadly business, enjoying privileged collaboration with TU Delft. We would also like to specifically highlight police extreme repression, discrimination and targeting of our friends, before, during and after the demonstration, setting an example of what happens to those who support our campaign.
